RelayMesh
Decentralized offline-first disaster response & emergency mesh network.
Architecture & Overview
RelayMesh is an autonomous, offline-first disaster response ecosystem designed for catastrophic events where traditional cellular and power grids fail. It establishes an ad-hoc peer-to-peer mesh network over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Wi-Fi Direct. Built with a React Native and Expo edge, it utilizes Delay-Tolerant Networking (DTN) and Store-and-Forward routing to transmit life-saving SOS beacons, encrypted communications, and spatial hazard updates. The central backend is powered by high-throughput Golang and PostgreSQL/PostGIS, synchronizing multi-hop data whenever a node discovers an internet gateway. This provides emergency dispatchers with real-time spatial awareness via a React-based Incident Command Dashboard.
